My life as cake

Sticky, gooey, decadent, hearty, nourishing, towering, varied, sweet, bitter. My life is a cake; a tall cake with many layers each with different ingredients, many complimentary to each others, but with some layers standing in stark contrast. The layers encompass all the aspects of my life, some are substantial while others are thin and lacey. The layer of disappointments is lemony and sugarless; looking pretty, but not nearly as nice as it appears on the surface and certainly not what was hoped for. The layer made up of my personal interests and continual learning is nourishing, wholesome and tasty and is especially good with milk. The cake that is light and delicate and goes well with champagne contains my spirit and my dreams. Incredibly chocolatey, rich and sumptuous describes the layer of sex and passion. Love is the overlay, the frosting, the mantle that drapes all over and oozes throughout the layers of this wobbling tower of infinite variety, coating and holding it all together in the most delicious and delightful way.
